Biggest bank startup gets state charter
Top executives with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation will present American Momentum Bank its official operating charter Wednesday. American Momentum is the largest startup in state banking history, with $100 million in capitalization. The bank plans to expand to all of Florida's major markets and already has offices under development in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Naples and Orlando. .
